Club Penguin Times Issue #198

'Sup? The new Club Penguin Times came out today and theres tons of new news!

So first thing's first. I wanna talk about what I'm most excited about!! What you can do is write a story about the given topics and the 4 best winners will get their book into the Book Room ALSO they will recieve 10101 coins! The details are below. You can either check 'em out in the picture

or just read it.

The Contest will end on August 5th and the winners will be announced September 10. As I said the winning books will be available on September 14th in the Book Room. Here are the story topics:

1. The Hiking Vikings

2.Wacky Wildlife in the Wilderness

3. My Ultimate Iggy Dance Party

4.The day we turned blue.. and sunk the Iceberg

Well I'm super excited for this! My mom has been on my case of writing and reading and whatnot so I might start writing. I'll post my story if I get the chance.

Club Penguin Reviewed By Us!

I pretty much already explained to you about the Lighthose music gig. Well Billybob or whoever was looking for today's Reviewed By You question and found one about Gary The Gadget Guy and his plans. He was talking about changing the windows in the Underground Pool- I wonder how he's gonna do that- It seems as if he will soon need our help. The CP Team will have an update on that very soon. So what's your fav Gary invention?? Let me know in the comments.

I personally am getting sick of these new changes. Why not just keep the windows how they were? It's not necessary. I like the simple Club Penguin without all these changes. Its just getting annoying. And the 101 Days Of Fun? Pretty dumb and boring.

Happy777 Talks about Music (w/ Screenhog!)

Ok so if you check out the 101 Days of Fun Offline Activities on the website you'll see some sheet music. You can use it to play some Club Penguin music. Not in Club Penguin but in your own home, which is pretty sweet, huh? I don't really have any instruments but I think I can dig out my old keyboard. Let me know if you have any instruments. And the music catalog thing is coming out Friday so you can still jam. Oh yeah if you check out the website you'll see the interview with Hayppy777 and Screenhog. You'll find it below as well.

Q: We checked out the sheet music - Where can penguins find that song in Club Penguin?
A: You can hear it on the homepage when you click the Tour Guide and start the movie.

Q: The team is doing some work at the Lighthouse stage so that (just like during the Music Jam) we'll be able to hear certain instruments when we play there. What do you think?

A: I'm glad. However, I personally like seeing the songs that penguins play and sing all over Club Penguin even more.

Q: Do you play any instruments? Got any quick tips to share with other musically inclined penguins?
A: Yep, I can play a few - the alto saxophone, a few percussion instruments, but my all-time favorite is the piano. To any of you who play real instruments, keep it up! Find a song and see if you can learn how to play it, or even try and compose your own music. All of Club Penguin's music is made by someone, and maybe someday that someone could be you!

Music Jam Coming To Your Iggy and Lighthouse?!

Hey penguins! The Music Jam is now over (which includes the Color Vote) but the Club Penguin team has heard so much from us about how we would love to make it a permanent thing. So in about a week the team will make it so that we can play at the Lighthouse with the certain instruments. Let them know what you think!

In other CP news, you will now be able to play some of the music in your igloo! So get ready for the new records, check out the Better Iggy Catalogs for some music decorations to really deck out your iggy!! Until next time, see ya later!!

Club Penguin adds new servers!!!

CP is working really hard and is definitely expanding! They have added new servers although most of them are safe-chat servers they have cool names. Some names are: Dry Ice, Snow Covered, Sasquatch, Glacial, and Patagonia. Just to let you know, maybe some of your old favorite servers are now safe-chat. Go check it out yourself. It would've been nice to have these during Music Jam because everywhere was so full!! Well until later.. Bye!

DJ3K Cheat??

I'm not sure if this is a cheat or what but I just noticed it. In the Night Club look at the bottom right corner and click it. This is what will show up--You can buy your own records to play during DJ3K. Pretty cool, huh? Now as I said I don't know if this is well known or not but if it isn't please give credit to me. New Pin & New 2009 July/August Furniture Catalog

In all the excitment of the Music Jam some of us might have forgotten that there is a new pin and a new Furniture Catalog! It is located in the Boiler room and it is a Beach umbrella pin.

For the new catalog.. whoa soo many things. So I'm just gonna post the absolutely new things.

This is one Page 1. What you need to do it click the DJ Tables.

Which reveals the Wall Speakers which cost 800 coins.

The next cheat is still on page 1 too. Click the Gramophone which gives you the Band Stage which is pretty convient since the MJ is taking place right now.

For the next cheat is on page 2. Click on the Stone Column Ruins.

Which leads you to the guitar stand for 300 coins.

Music Jam '09-Free Items! & How To Get An All-Access Pass

Woot!! Ok so the Music Jam is finally HERE!! If you go to the cove there are awesome FREE Green Headphones!!

Ok to get the free Boombox (for members only)

1. Enter the town

2. Go to the Nightclub

3. Go upstairs of the Night Club

4. Go grab yourself a boombox!

Now for you members go to the Dock and enter the Backstage. You will find a new Music Catalog.

Click the i in music for the Snare Drum.

And click the o in catalog for the BLACK ELECTRIC GUITAR!

For you members- if you need an All-Access Pass go to the Snow Forts and there should be a little stand around the bottom left area.

I want to give WWE Adam FULL Credit for the pics above from the Music Catalog and the boombox cheat because I'm no member so I cannot get in.

Club Penguin Times Issue #196

This is soooo COOL! Club Penguin is letting US vote on the new colors!! The vote will be on July 24th till July 29th. You can vote in the Forest where there will be a voting booth. The color choices are- lavender, aqua, and maroon. Check them out!

Idk what I will vote 4! How about you? I want all of them equally! Click the pic below 4 more info.

In other news, the Music Jam- which is going on Friday!- is going to have TWO backstages. One will be at the Main Stage at the dock, the other on top of the Night Club where we can meet Cadence! So if you haven't met her yet, here is your chance. Also don't remember you gotta be a member to get into the Backstage areas. Like last year I think later on Cadence will be traveling to areas where the non-members will be so don't worry.

So what are you most excited about? The Music Jam just in general, meeting the Penguin Band or Cadence, making your own band, or are you psyched to pick your own color?

Woot!! Found a new cheat!

Ok guys I think I am one of the FIRST CP Bloggers to mention this- I found a new cheat! So you can add someone and then have them on ur ignore list. Here are the steps--

1. Find someone and add them

2. Before they can accept ignore them
3. They are on your ignore list AND they are your buddie.

Yeah, it's not yellow but that's because she was not online.

Membership Expired =(

Aww, this sucks. Well not really. So my membership is expired. It went out today. Being a member isn't all that fun but it would've been cool to get the All-Access Pass for the music jam. But I missed being a non-member and it's still really fun.

Ok what's up guys? So the CP guys are working on the decorations for the Music Jam and this is directly from the blog:

Greetings, Penguins!

The Music Jam Party starts this Friday and there are some amazing band rehearsals happening all over the island. It's so cool to see you guys getting ready. I saw the pic of the Lighthouse from Billybob's Monday post - pretty impressive. It made me so excited to actually see the party and I wanted to talk to someone on the team who worked on the decorations.

Q: I know there are a lot of different music stages for this party. Which one was the most fun to work on?
A: All the stages were great to work on, but if I had to pick a favorite I'd say the big stage at the dock. It changes themes throughout the party.

Q: How did you come up with all the different decorations?
A: The focus was kept on two things, music stages and things that make noise. So there are different stages, but also some cool noise-making surprises!

Q: I heard rumors about a chocolate fountain in one of the backstage areas. Is that true?
A: Wait! There's a chocolate fountain Backstage!?!? Golly, look at the time, I better. . . umm. . . get back to work. . . at the Backstage. . .

Party starts Friday! Have fun and let us know what you think of how the island looks!
