Club Penguin Times Issue #198

'Sup? The new Club Penguin Times came out today and theres tons of new news!

So first thing's first. I wanna talk about what I'm most excited about!! What you can do is write a story about the given topics and the 4 best winners will get their book into the Book Room ALSO they will recieve 10101 coins! The details are below. You can either check 'em out in the picture

or just read it.

The Contest will end on August 5th and the winners will be announced September 10. As I said the winning books will be available on September 14th in the Book Room. Here are the story topics:

1. The Hiking Vikings

2.Wacky Wildlife in the Wilderness

3. My Ultimate Iggy Dance Party

4.The day we turned blue.. and sunk the Iceberg

Details:

*4 Winning stories will be added to the Book Room*

*Each Winner will win 10101 coins and a special post cards*

*Stories will submitted in English, Portugese, French or Spanish. One story from each language will be selected*

Well I'm super excited for this! My mom has been on my case of writing and reading and whatnot so I might start writing. I'll post my story if I get the chance.

Most of you know about the Color Vote. And they are being counted. Check out the Penguin Catalog on August 7th to see what the new color will be. I'm pulling towards Maroon.

Club Penguin Reviewed By Us!

I pretty much already explained to you about the Lighthose music gig. Well Billybob or whoever was looking for today's Reviewed By You question and found one about Gary The Gadget Guy and his plans. He was talking about changing the windows in the Underground Pool- I wonder how he's gonna do that- It seems as if he will soon need our help. The CP Team will have an update on that very soon. So what's your fav Gary invention?? Let me know in the comments.

I personally am getting sick of these new changes. Why not just keep the windows how they were? It's not necessary. I like the simple Club Penguin without all these changes. Its just getting annoying. And the 101 Days Of Fun? Pretty dumb and boring.

Happy777 Talks about Music (w/ Screenhog!)

Ok so if you check out the 101 Days of Fun Offline Activities on the website you'll see some sheet music. You can use it to play some Club Penguin music. Not in Club Penguin but in your own home, which is pretty sweet, huh? I don't really have any instruments but I think I can dig out my old keyboard. Let me know if you have any instruments. And the music catalog thing is coming out Friday so you can still jam. Oh yeah if you check out the website you'll see the interview with Hayppy777 and Screenhog. You'll find it below as well.

Q: We checked out the sheet music - Where can penguins find that song in Club Penguin?
A: You can hear it on the homepage when you click the Tour Guide and start the movie.

Q: The team is doing some work at the Lighthouse stage so that (just like during the Music Jam) we'll be able to hear certain instruments when we play there. What do you think?

A: I'm glad. However, I personally like seeing the songs that penguins play and sing all over Club Penguin even more.

Q: Do you play any instruments? Got any quick tips to share with other musically inclined penguins?
A: Yep, I can play a few - the alto saxophone, a few percussion instruments, but my all-time favorite is the piano. To any of you who play real instruments, keep it up! Find a song and see if you can learn how to play it, or even try and compose your own music. All of Club Penguin's music is made by someone, and maybe someday that someone could be you!

Music Jam Coming To Your Iggy and Lighthouse?!

Hey penguins! The Music Jam is now over (which includes the Color Vote) but the Club Penguin team has heard so much from us about how we would love to make it a permanent thing. So in about a week the team will make it so that we can play at the Lighthouse with the certain instruments. Let them know what you think!
